What are your opening hours?

We are open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm.


Where are you located?

How do I order items?

When you have found an item you want to order, click on the "Add to Cart" button. This will bring you to the shopping cart screen. To add more books, click on "Continue Shopping". To place your order click on "Checkout". You can remove items from your basket by ticking the relevant button, or change the quantity by adjusting the number in the quantity column and clicking "Recalculate". You can get to your shopping basket by clicking on the basket icon or the summary at any time.

If this is your first time ordering online with us, you will need to register an account by first entering your email address, and then a password and password reminder. If you've been here before, simply sign in with your email address and password. You need to fill in all the details for the order including billing address, delivery address, chosen delivery method, and valid credit / debit card details. You can also include your own order reference.

Once you submit the order, you will be shown an order number, and you will be sent an order email.

Please note: if your order is in the process of being dispatched it cannot be cancelled.


How long will my order take?

If your order is in stock it will be dispatched within 3-5 business days.

If an item is out of stock, we will e-mail you with an expected availability date. This date is based on information we receive from suppliers and is as up-to-date as possible.

If you place an order with items with differing availability and want these despatched together, the whole order will be held until all items are available. Your credit card will not be charged until the order is despatched.

If your order has not arrived within the expected time frame and was sent via An Post, please allow 10 working days for it to arrive before contacting us. If your order has been sent with a courier service and has not arrived after 3 working days please advise us so that we can investigate.


What are your shipping charges?

You may choose to have your books delivered, or you may prefer to collect them from our shop. There is not any charge for collecting your books. Small orders will be delivered by An Post; larger orders will be delivered by courier service - in both cases we recommend using a delivery address where someone will be present to receive the delivery and sign for it if necessary.

 


Can I return a product?

There are two ways you can return an item to us, provided that you do so within 28 days of receipt and the goods are in perfect condition. We consider each request to return a product on a individual basis.

If your order was placed online you can return it with the receipt to Storey Books  for a refund or exchange. Alternatively a return authorization must be issued before an item is returned. Please contact us before sending any items back to us. The postage on returned goods will be borne by you, unless we were at fault.

There are some limited edition or hard to find items that are not on our website. If you contact us by e-mail and we are able to find the book for you, it may be a firm sale item. This means we need a firm commitment from you before we order it because we won’t be able to return it to the supplier. In this rare case, it would not be a refundable order. However, we would notify you about this through e-mail before you committed to the order.

 

Are the prices the same online as in your shop?

While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.


Do you stock all the products on your website? Are all the items immediately available?

In order to offer the widest range possible to our customers, we also list items we expect to be able to source easily. Where we do not have an item in stock, we will order it from the supplier or wholesaler. Although we strive to keep all the information on the website up to date, we may find that an item is temporarily unavailable, or is no longer in stock. If there will be any delay in fulfilling your order we will contact you by email.
